Vocalist and guitar player Shakin' Stevens (real name: Michael Barratt) was born in Wales. He is one of the most successful British pop singers of the 80's. He began his music career in such rock groups as Olympians, Cossacks, and Denims. In 1968 Stevens founded his own band.
